General information:
 
Basically all WIST dormitories are habitable all year round (except for Karwendel dormitory 2, which during the summer functions as a hotel). When a student moves into a dormitory, a contract will be concluded between the WIST and the student in question, in accordance with the BGBI hostels law. 291/1986. The contract usually starts on September 1st of the academic year with a duration of one year (up to 31. August of the following year). Exceptions will be announced upon receipt of the place in the dormitory.

Price of rents:
For a duration of the contract of 12 months, respectively at the conclusion of the contract in the summer semester from 01.03.-31.08. standard prices shall in principle apply. In the case of a rental with a contractual period of less than one 12 months, a monthly fee of 40,- up to 65,- € will be charged at the standard price due to the short period of the contract. Since the WIST association aims to support students, there is the possibility of price reductions if certain conditions are met.

All prices are per person and include operating costs and all taxes. Phone charges will be charged separately. The internet fee of € 65 will be withheld from the warranty after the conclusion of the contract. All taxes include the applicable VAT. The indicated fees may be modified by the hostel administration if necessary. In justified cases, the documents may be submitted later, but the decision on acceptance to the dormitory is possible only after all the documents have been submitted. The contract usually starts on the 1st. September of the respective academic year. Exceptions will be announced with the allocation of the dorm room.
